It protects where it needs to but gets out of the way otherwise. Great for when you use MagSafe accessories or just like how the phone looks or feels, the case gets out of the way.

Genius case and room for Improvement

Genius case for the primary feature of the open back which dramatically reduces the depth of the case when an Apple Mag-Safe wallet is an also increasing the security of attachment of the wallet to the case. This why it is my 2nd one. I’d also love to see OpenCase improve the internal corner shock absorption, increase the grippy-ness of the case sides (bit too smooth), and introduce some more color options beyond white and black.
