MagWallet v2: OpenCase's New MagSafe Wallet That's A Notch Above

We may be a small company, just myself and my wife, but we are still pushing very hard to make our innovative phone cases and our accessories the best they can be. As you might expect, our most popular MagSafe accessory is the MagWallet, a magnetic phone wallet. As early as the Kickstarter, we have gotten feedback that it can be a bit hard to get cards out of, especially if you are maxing it out with 4 cards. We really like how the material's slightly tacky nature holds cards more securely. And over time, the materials wears in, stretches out a bit, and gets easier to remove the cards. Nevertheless, right out of the box, it was more cumbersome than it should be for our customers to remove their cards.

At the end of June 2024, we got a not great review by YouTuber @UNFILTERD. In his video “I Tested 40+ MagSafe Wallets: Watch this BEFORE you BUY (Tier List)” he dinged us pretty hard due to the tacky nature of the wallet and how it made it hard to get cards out. And you know what, he, and all of you who let us know, were right. It was too hard to get cards out. [As an aside, I’ll just quickly say that even though he didn’t love our old MagWallet, he did LOVE the OpenCase concept so much that he ended up doing an entire separate video about the case titled "The iPhone case everyone is talking about, is it any good” (spoiler, according to him, it is VERY good)]. 

Thinking about my personal observations, your feedback and the reviews, the MagWallet v2 was born. After months of testing it, it's so much easier to get your cards out of it. In just about every way, the new magnetic phone wallet is identical to our original one, except it now has a finger notch in the bottom to push your cards out. It's the same great material, same beautiful craftsmanship, and the same MagSafe convenience you've come to love with OpenCase products. And in typical OpenCase style, the solution is simple.
